ah! i'm here in london. the plane ride was okay, sort of cramped but they served us wine and i watched flight of the conchords and darjeeling limited. then we got off the plane and got our luggage and everything and came to our flats. our room is really big and we have a nice kitchen and couches and soft comfortable beds! hooray.
so anyway, we hung out and got oriented and stuff and then my roommates and i walked around and went to a pub. after the pub we came back to the room and then my roommate joe and i went to get more to drink and got lost on the way home but eventually found out way. last night we all made pizza and just sat around. i got lots of sleep and then this morning we went to poetry class, which is just in our group leader's room upstairs. then we had another orientations and after we walked around and bought groceries. now i'm back here.
although i do have a cell phone, i can't use it except for emergencies to call out, BUT, you can call me. i forget the number right now but i'll put it up later. so call me, anyone. also, our internet isn't working in the room so my roommates and i are sitting in the hallway. so lame. but it's been fun so far and i miss everyone already and will be putting up pictures soon! i keep looking the wrong way when i cross the street! everything is so expensive! i feel like i'm in a time warp that's a mix between old world history and architecture and new world costs and technology. very strange. very new. it's been good so far.
