forests in germany, kids in the tuileries

so i'm about to go to the music building to calculate whether or not i have 2 hours worth of music to play. i'm gonna try to be out of there by 4 at least, because a bunch of people from home are coming to visit uconn today and i'm SO excited. other than that, as the picture implies, while i'm not a quitter yet, i do feel like quitting everything. namely, school, and any immediate future plans i have. i guess i'm just lazy, but a lot of times i wonder whether i actually feel like i need to get a college degree or if i'm just doing it to go along with what's normal. regardless, i've already applied for a UK visa for next semester, and i don't have to take part in the housing lottery for next year because it's only my second semester on campus, so i guess i'll be here for a while.

i woke up with "the bare necessities" stuck in my head this morning. i'm not sure why, but maybe it has to do with the fact that i definitely had a dream that i was part of britney spears's entourage. although i can't see a connection there. but i did have another dream where the halloween parade in new york was going during the daytime, and i was wearing rachel's bun costume and looking for people to walk with and somehow no one was dressed up. metaphor? no, just humiliation, as per usual.

here are some lyrics from the bare necessities. while i was online someone told me it's beautiful outside. so that's where i'm going now.
r

And don't spend your time lookin' around
For something you want that can't be found
When you find out you can live without it
And go along not thinkin' about it
I'll tell you something true
The bare necessities of life will come to you
