i take back all good things i said about wednesdays last week. they are still all humiliating in some way, apparently; this week it was in the form of me getting an e-mail from my hall advisor (what?) that i'm on a "warning list" for mid-semester grades. sweet. so i've been freaking out that i'm going to be kicked out of school and not allowed to go abroad and all this stuff. what a terrible feeling. i'm sure it's going to feel even better to explain to each of my professors the reasons why i've been doing badly this semester. with any luck they will be understanding and i'll still be able to go to england; kat found out today that she's going to paris, which i hear is very cheap to travel to from london, so it'd be nice to get to see her while i'm there.
in other news, there is no news, other than that i don't even feel like graduating right now and i missed dinner at the dining hall. i started writing a story that i've been thinking about for a while, the one that i made the drawing of the thousand islands for. it's at about 3 pages right now, so it hasn't gotten very far into it, but i'm excited about working on it and will hopefully get some more done over break.
i think rachel and i are going to see the microphones in bridgeport this friday, so anyone who's around there then should go too! also, i was talking to my mom earlier today and telling her all about my week, and about 5 full minutes into our conversation she mentioned that she was in the apple store and her phone had been stuck on speakerphone.
here's another thing to add to my previously posted list of fears:

- this. i'm not even going to say anything. the simple possibility that this could actually happen is scary enough.
- this is an old one. i've been freaked out by scientologists for a while, and reading about this incident doesn't help at all. ahhh!
