busy, busy, busy. moving into the end of the semester feels like marymount all over again, except this time without the goodbyes. it is harder this time, knowing that the people i know here will go on without me next semester as though i were never here, that days will not seem longer without me, no empty space will exist where i'm not, all that, blah blah. i will hopefully be having too much fun abroad to notice. which reminds me, i met the london group tonight and they seem pretty okay. i think i could have a good time with them, especially in terms of traveling.
i met with my history professor again today, the second time this semester, and i got flustered, just like i thought i would. in fact, i'm pretty sure i might have to write him a letter explaining myself. that said, he's letting me rewrite my marx paper, a very generous offer from someone who helped me out before and has no real reason to care that i'm doing badly in his class. sometimes people surprise you. right now, though, i'm just glad panda's dad is okay and that i can fall asleep within the next 10 minutes without knowing i'll be stayin up late thinking all night (unisom!). i'm getting nostalgic for the end of last semester and, unfortunately, a bit for the beginning of this one. everytime i'm home i can step away from school and feel disconnected from it; but when i get back, i'll tell ya, it's hard to take my head out of this place.r
