today i went apple picking with caroline, chad and tommy, before they had to go back up to vermont. this particular orchard holds some significance to me because not only did i have a fun time there with cathy last month, but it's where i got cat scratch disease. i'm still not really over the freakishness of this disease, not to mention the fact that i got it by just hanging around with a (seemingly) innocent orchard kitten. lucky for both me and said cat, all you have to do to get rid of it is take advil for a few days- though i didn't really appreciate breaking out in hives.
anyway, i was pretty sad to see chad and tommy go, but really can't wait for thanksgiving. besides being my favorite holiday, that week marks the birthday of tommy, rachel, and maggie. which means it's going to be good no matter what, and most of my friends will be home so we can make good use of the teepee just like nature intended us to.
so while i wait to go home for my favorite day of the year, i think i'll just relax with franzia and the simpsons, which seem to be the best two things i'll find anywhere in a 100 mile radius from here.

i have literally been listening to I'm So Tired constantly for the past month. literally. i think i am going to switch it up and change to For No One this week.
aha, see i was the other way around. for no one made it onto my top 25 most played this past month alone.
